We work with adults and children who, due to disabilities or complex medical conditions, need assistance in developing the kinds of everyday skills that allow them to function more independently at home, school, or work.
Our skilled, highly qualified therapists are experienced in working with children, adolescents, and adults with a variety of neurological and orthopedic conditions. Through a variety of exercises and routines, and with a large measure of caring and compassion, we help patients build cognitive and motor skills along with confidence and a greater sense of independence.
Melissa and Stacy opened the doors of Norton PT in August 2014.
We offer various serious services along with Physical therapy, including deep tissue /sports massage, taping-kinesio/leuko taping, cupping therapy and electrical stimulation. We treat all ages and accept most insurances!
The staff at Norton Physical Therapy are highly skilled clinicians who provide a wide range of manual therapies, progressive therapeutic exercises, state of the art modalities, and hands on functional training.
Stacy is a licensed physical therapist and has been practicing in outpatient orthopedics since 2007.
Stacy completed her undergraduate and doctoral degree of Physical Therapy at Northeastern University. She worked in Boston for two years, treating patients with various diagnoses. Her clinic specialized in runners and tri-athletes where she performed biomechanical gait and running analyses.
From there, Stacy practiced in Nashville, TN for two years, expanding her knowledge to vestibular rehabilitation and occupational health. She performed community in-services while collaborating with doctors for balance and dizziness. She educated patients and companies on proper body mechanics and ergonomics in the work place.
She then practiced in Oradell, NJ. While practicing in Oradell, NJ she became certified in Mat Pilates as well as Pilates reformer machine to integrate into her physical therapy skills/practice.
As part owner, Stacy continues to explore new techniques and approaches in order to maximize function and prevent injury.
Melissa is a licensed physical therapist assistant and has been practicing since 2009.
She received an Associate’s of Science degree in Physical Therapist Assistant at Bay State College. Melissa worked in San Diego, CA from 2009-2010 treating a variety of diagnoses from orthopedic injuries to neurological disorders. While working in San Diego, she worked in an aquatic therapy pool.
Upon returning to Massachusetts in 2010, she worked for a TCU in Walpole primarily treating postoperative orthopedic surgeries. While there she also treated patients for gait training, balance, and general deconditioning.
She returned to treat in an to outpatient setting in 2011, at a physical therapy clinic in Brockton, where she worked for three years. There she treated a variety of diagnoses, including treatment of the upper and lower extremities, spine pathologies, balance/gait and chronic pain syndromes.
In August 2014, Melissa opened Norton Physical Therapy as part owner of the private practice and is also a treating clinician.
Dennis graduated from New England Tech in 2001 as valedictorian of his class. He has been practicing for nearly ten years, primarily in outpatient orthopedic care. During his practice he has been head of rehabilitation for the dioceses of Fall River. Dennis primarily likes to treat post surgical orthopedic patients and wound care.
Including being a certified FIFA rehab care professional, Dennis is an avid soccer fan and player. Dennis has played sports most of his life and has a full understanding of treating sports related injuries. In his free time he enjoys active time with his family and is a New England Revolution season ticket holder.
Kevin is a licensed physical therapist assistant from Bay State College. He received a B.S. degree in Exercise Science at Quinnipiac University before receiving an A.S. degree in Physical Therapist Assistant at Bay State College. He enjoys working with and getting to know the greater Norton, Attleboro, and Taunton populations.
He is looking to continue in an outpatient orthopedic setting for the foreseeable future. His goal is to eventually open a gym for geriatric individuals focused on resistance training and enhancing their quality of life through movement. If you have a restaurant or ice cream recommendation he is all ears!

If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please contact us at least 24 hours in advance so that we may attempt to fill your appointment time and to avoid a cancel/no show fee.
To prevent large balances, smaller payments can be made in advance or when you receive an explanation of benefits showing the amount owed toward each visit.
Please wear comfortable or loose clothing (i.e. shorts, sweats, t-shirt). You can change here if you would like.
Appointments last generally between 45 and 60 minutes. Please let us know if you need to leave early.
